Central Region President
ZeNai Brooks is a dynamic business and community millennial leader with over 12 years of audit and compliance experience and over 15 years of NABA service. ZeNai's passion and strengthens are married within her current role assisting clients by providing financials statement audits, federal and state grant compliance, charter school guidelines, A-133 compliance, internal controls, 990 preparation and other consulting services, while also connecting with their mission. She is currently an auditor with Crowe, LLP in Indianapolis, IN working in the Public Service Sector, serving clients in Not-For-Profit, Government and Education.
ZeNai has also served NABA at every level starting as a student at the University of Louisville, the Indianapolis Chapter Secretary, Vice President and President, Central Region Vice President and currently, Central Region President and National Director. As Regional President, ZeNai providers oversight to 13 professional chapters and 22 student chapters; monitoring compliance, assisting with leadership and career development, liaising between the National Office and local chapters and much more. As a National Director, ZeNai serves on the Strategic Planning and Finance Committees. ZeNai's vision for NABA focuses on bridging the gap between the various generations that NABA serves while ensuring the organization remains relevant to its members and corporate partners.
ZeNai's commitment to service and leadership is further evidenced by her involvement in other organizations such as the Indiana CPA Society (INCPAS) and Urban League Exchange (Young Professionals), In 2017, ZeNai was selected one of Indianapolis’ Best and Brightest, top 10 in the Accounting and Finance profession. Finally, her most important service role is as the First Lady of New Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, where she serves as the Financial Secretary, Sunday School Teacher and oversees the Leadership Ministry.
