Ryan Galloway, CPA, CGMA is a Financial Controller supporting Cloud and Artificial Intelligence products at Microsoft where he previously supported the Global Sales Marketing and Operations-Strategy team as a Senior Finance Manager. Prior to Microsoft, Ryan was a Special Assistant at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services Innovation and a Program Examiner at the White House Office of Management and Budget focused on optimizing the US health care system through the implementation of alternative payment models. Ryan has also served as an Accounting Manager at SafeNet, Inc. and ultimately began his career in public accounting in the assurance practices of Ernst & Young and SB & Company LLC. Ryan is also the Cofounder of BlackPrint Capital Partners, an early stage venture firm and accelerator on a mission to help create and capture generational wealth in underserved and underestimated communities. 

Currently as National Secretary, Ryan also serves as the Chairman of the Governance Committee and serves as a liaison to the Nominations and Elections Committee, National Awards Committee, Ethics Committee and Arbitration Committee.

Ryan’s NABA service includes Cofounding and launching the Entrepreneurship Track at the National Convention in 2019, serving as Eastern Region Vice President, Baltimore Chapter President and on the National CPA Bound, Audit and Finance Committee’s. Ryan has received the following NABA recognition: 2-time Chapter President of the Year, Chairman’s Award, National Achievement in Government, and is a lifetime member. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Baltimore Curriculum Project, on the steering committee for the American Cancer Society’s Taste for Life fundraiser, and was recognized by the Living Classrooms Foundation and Baltimore Business Journal as a rising star. 

Ryan is a graduate of Florida A&M University, with a Bachelor’s in Accounting, the University of Notre Dame with a Masters in Accounting, and the MBA for Executives program at Yale University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA- Inactive), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM- Inactive).
