Ryan Galloway, CPA, CGMA is a Special Assistant in the US Government at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services Innovation working on health care reform and the implementation of the affordable care act. He began his career in public accounting at Ernst & Young in the assurance practice. He also has worked in audit at SB & Company, as an Accounting Manager at SafeNet, Inc., and as a legislative aide in the Maryland General Assembly.
Ryan’s NABA service includes serving as Eastern Region Vice President, Baltimore Chapter- Immediate Past President, President, Vice President and Director of Programs and Professional Development, as well as at the National level on the CPA Bound Committee and Finance Committee. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Baltimore Curriculum Project, on the steering committee for the American Cancer Society’s Taste for Life fundraiser, and was recognized by the Living Classrooms Foundation and Baltimore Business Journal as a rising star.
Ryan is a graduate of Florida A&M University, with a Bachelor’s in Accounting, the University of Notre Dame with a Masters in Accounting, and the MBA for Executives program at Yale University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM- Inactive).
