At Plante Moran, we understand that creating a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace is difficult work — but it’s worth every bit of time and effort that we put into it. That’s why we’re intentional about partnerships with the National Association of Black Accountants and other minority student and professional organizations to increase the exposure of diverse students to professional services, actively recruit Black candidates to the firm, and offer internal programs to acclimate and support the progression of diverse staff.
We feel this work is more important now than ever. To help guide the firm, our Inclusion and Diversity Council is leading us through a "Year of Understanding." This initiative spans the diversity spectrum to educate each of us on the experiences of our diverse staff, how to make our firm more inclusive, and how we can "walk the talk" in our commitment to social justice.
