Uso is a Senior Manager in the Business Advisory Services practice at Johnson Lambert where she oversees the Technology Risks Management practices and provides Consultative Services to a variety of companies. Prior to Johnson Lambert, Uso spent nine years in the Risk Assurance practice at PwC. She is a tactical leader, a tireless and selfless volunteer, and a mentor and coach to peers and younger professionals.
Uso is a lifetime member of NABA, Inc. She has demonstrated her commitment to the association and its motto, “Lifting As We Climb” for more than 15 years. She has served at every level of the organization, across three of our four regions, in a variety of different roles. Her commitment to the accounting profession and the association was celebrated and recognized at the 2015 National Convention when she received the highest member award, The National Outstanding Member Award. Uso is currently a Director on the NABA National Board and Co-Chair of the NABA Atlanta Corporate Advisory Board.
In addition to actively serving NABA, Uso is also President of her Neighborhood Homeowners Association and a Board Member at the MorningStar Urban Development, an organization whose mission is “To empower families and individuals through advocacy, education, and civil engagement with sustainable methods to become present & future stakeholders in the community in which they live”.
Uso obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Guyana and Masters of Business Administration degree in Information Systems and Financial Management from Pace University.
Uso and her husband, Nigel, have two children (Christian, 7, and Elyse, 4), and an Italian Mastiff/Cane Curso (Caesar 130+lbs). Uso’s hobbies include spending time with her family, traveling, and watching “mindless” TV programs.
