Programs

NABA is the first organization of its type in this country whose primary focus is to empower blacks in the accounting and finance field.  Our overarching objective is to bridge the opportunity gap for black professionals and to create business leaders. Our programs are a core part of that mission. Focusing on the essential skills for success, NABA offers unique programs that blend:

  • Professional development with hands-on, real-world learning opportunities
  • Venues for members to develop and build strategic business relationships
  • Ongoing peer-to-peer coaching, mentoring and support
  • Regular opportunities to give back to the community

Our membership is diverse, ranging from undergraduate students to C-Suite Executives to retirees.  Our members are trained and skilled in multiple disciplines – from accounting, to finance to education and more. As a result, our programs are designed to help black accounting and finance professionals seeking to maintain their technical acumen, keep up with change in the profession, and advance their careers.  We partner with organizations and/or companies who are seeking a diverse talent pipeline to ensure that our programs are timely, relevant and customized to the needs of our membership.
