NABA has successfully designed programs to enhance professional career development. Focusing on the essential skills for success, NABA offers unique value-added leadership training and professional development opportunities as well as venues for organizations and individuals to build new business. "Lifting As We Climb" is our motto and the standard we apply in our efforts to assist our members in realizing their personal, professional and economic potential through a combination of professional and personal education, leadership training, and access to professional and social networks.

The Leadership Institute is offered at the NABA Annual Convention and is organized into three tracks: Executive, Management, and Aspiring Leaders.  For a nominal cost in addition to standard registration fees, qualifying convention attendees can participate in seminars to enhance their current skill set and assist them with growing in their respective fields.

For participants with 12 or more years of experience with at least 7 years of experience in management and 2 years in a senior level management position. Designed for those aspiring to senior level management.

Attendee Requirements:

Participants must have 12 or more years of work experience with at least 7 years experience in management and 2 years in a senior level management position. These sessions are meant for those aspiring to the executive level.

For participants with 7-11 years of experience and a minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in accounting, finance or related fields. These sessions are designed for those aspiring to senior level management.

This two-day program aimed at young professionals looking to advance their careers was designed from the ground up specifically for our NABA members.

Pathways explores multiple aspects of personal and professional career development.  It is purposefully intensive to help participants gain relevant personal awareness, business knowledge and skills practice in a compressed yet focused environment.

This session should be attended by professionals from the fields of accounting, financial services, IT, manufacturing, retail, regulatory agencies, government and not-for-profits who are 4-7 years into their career.
