37
th Annual National Convention & Expo
The Atlanta Chapter is very excited to host the NABA 37th Annual National Convention. Beginning Tuesday, June 10, and concluding on Saturday, June 14, the 2008 convention will take place at the luxurious Hilton Hotel located in the heart of downtown Atlanta. The site of the convention is within walking distance to Centennial Olympic Park, World of Coke and the Georgia Aquarium.
In conjunction with the National Office and the Atlanta Chapter Convention Co-Chairs Earl Fagan, Jr., and Holly Robinson are planning an agenda which will be educational, inspiring and entertaining to say the least ... Those who attended "The Blackout" Promotional Party in Philadelphia experienced a taste of what the Atlanta Chapter has in store for you. Over 1,000 NABA members and guests attended the red carpet affair, and sampled southern cuisine while dancing to hits by local Atlanta artists. It truly was a memorable affair.
In addition to a wealth of African-American owned businesses, Atlanta is home to more than 450 of the nation’s Fortune 500 companies, including corporate headquarters for The Coca-Cola Company, Delta Air Lines, Home Depot, United Parcel Service, and CNN. In the tradition of past conventions, the 37th Convention will offer a variety of continuing education courses, seminars and networking opportunities for students and professionals alike.
We invite you to take a stroll down Peachtree Street to Midtown, the heart of the city’s financial district, enjoy lunch in trendy Little Five Points, or visit Buckhead to enjoy the city’s nightlife. The Atlanta Chapter and the local business community look forward to sharing with you all that the HOTLANTA has to offer.
